COVIL RELEASE AGENT is a ready-to-use asphalt release agent for asphalt tools, trucks, tippers, dumpers, and rollers. The product is readily biodegradable according to OECD 301c, completely biodegradable, low-odor, and wax- and silicone-free. The absence of silicone is operationally relevant because silicone residues on vehicle and tool surfaces can interfere with subsequent painting and coating work. Since the release agent is used undiluted, there is no need for mixing tanks, dosage errors, or daily checks of the mixing ratio. For road construction crews, this means short setup times before the start of a shift: clean the vehicle, wet it, ready for use. Application is possible by spray gun, brush, or roller, making it practical even where no wetting system is available. A prerequisite for reliable release action is thorough and complete wetting of clean, oil- and tar-free surfaces. The product is classified H304 and must be handled accordingly. The product is supplied in container sizes from 1-liter bottles to 60-liter canisters, allowing both individual vehicles and entire crews to be supplied economically.
Clean equipment, skips, and tools before use; they must be free of oil and tar. Apply COVIL RELEASE AGENT undiluted to the surfaces of transport vehicles, asphalt buckets, pavers, rollers, and molds. Application can be done by spraying, brushing, or rolling. Thorough and complete wetting is crucial; unwetted areas will lead to adhesion. Before initial use on a new surface, check material compatibility. The product can be fatal if swallowed and enters airways (H304), so do not transfer to food containers, do not induce vomiting, and seek immediate medical advice if swallowed. Do not inhale spray mist and wear suitable protective gloves.

Depending on the application method and skip size, approximately 0.3 to 0.5 liters are required to wet a truck skip. A 30-liter canister thus suffices for around 60 to 100 wettings, and a 10-liter canister for approximately 20 to 33 wettings.
