Cover Hair-EX ist ein flüssiger, konzentrierter Rohrreiniger auf Basis von Kaliumhydroxid, der hartnäckigste Ablagerungen in Rohren und Abflüssen löst und entfernt. Im Unterschied zu vielen granulatbasierten Rohrreinigern, die beim Kontakt mit Wasser stark exotherm reagieren und dabei Spritzer sowie heißen Dampf freisetzen können, entwickelt Cover Hair-EX keine gefährlichen Dämpfe und setzt keine großen Wärmemengen frei – ein spürbarer Sicherheitsvorteil bei der Anwendung von Hand. Das Produkt verflüssigt Haare, Fette, Seifenreste sowie Fleisch- und Gemüserückstände und ist dabei biologisch abbaubar und wasserlöslich. Rohrleitungen, Waschbecken, Resopal, Gummi, Kunststoffe und PVC werden nicht angegriffen. Damit eignet sich Cover Hair-EX für alle verstopften oder langsam abfließenden Abflüsse und Toiletten bei Friseuren, Hotels, Gaststätten, Metzgereien, Wurstfabriken und überall dort, wo organische Rückstände Verstopfungen verursachen. Da das Konzentrat mit einem pH-Wert von 13,5 stark alkalisch und ätzend ist, sollten vor der Anwendung Schutzhandschuhe und Schutzbrille getragen und die Sicherheitshinweise beachtet werden.
Cover-Hairex is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before use. For slow-running drains, mix 1:4 with water and pour into the drain, then rinse with water after approximately 20 minutes. For already clogged drains, first remove any standing water, dilute Cover-Hairex 1:2 with water, pour into the drain and leave for approximately 20 minutes (longer if necessary), then rinse with water. For toilets, dilute Cover-Hairex 1:5 with water, pour into the bowl, leave for approximately 30 minutes and flush. Hot water increases cleaning power and reduces reaction time.

Clogged and slow-draining sinks and toilets in hair salons, hotels, restaurants, butcher shops, sausage factories, and wherever hair, grease, or organic residues cause blockages.
Strongly alkaline (pH 13.5 in concentrate) and corrosive to metals (H290). Does not attack pipes, sinks, Resopal, rubber, plastics, and PVC. Do not store or use together with acids; hydrogen gas may form upon contact with metals.
Depending on the application, dilution, and drain size, 0.25 to 0.5 liters of application solution are typically required per application. A 10-liter canister thus suffices for a large number of individual applications; in cases of severe blockages and repeated treatment, consumption will increase accordingly.
