When sprayed thinly, approximately 30 to 60 milliliters cover about one square meter of tool or mold surface. One liter is therefore sufficient for about 20 to 30 square meters or several hundred individual applications on locks and mechanisms, depending on the application technique.

Description

TRENNAX-MS is a silicone-based release and lubricant agent available as bulk goods, meaning it's for application with a spray gun, brush, or cloth instead of an aerosol can. The product is physiologically harmless and non-toxic, has antistatic and anticorrosive properties, and combines release, lubricating, and care properties in one formulation. The ignition temperature is above 300 degrees Celsius. The technical difference from canned goods primarily lies in cost-effectiveness and application versatility: Bulk goods can be dispensed into dipping tanks, spray systems, or refill systems, which reduces costs per application for high consumption and significantly less packaging waste. In plastics, rubber, foam, and textile processing, the silicone film ensures clean demolding without sticking to tools and molded parts. In maintenance and workshop areas, the product lubricates without dripping or sticking, so that locking systems, wood and plastic mechanisms, blinds, awnings, and zippers remain functional. On tarpaulins, leather, tents, boats, and construction vehicles, the film also acts as a care and protective layer. For businesses, this means less rework on molded parts and reduced susceptibility to malfunctions in moving components.

Product application

  • Clean surfaces and allow them to dry before treatment. Spray TRENNAX-MS thinly and evenly from a distance of 30 to 50 centimetres or apply with a cloth or brush. A thin, closed film is sufficient; excessive application leads to greasy shine and adhesions. When used as a care product, polish after a short flash-off time to increase the gloss. Do not use on surfaces that are subsequently to be painted, glued or printed, as silicone residues impair adhesion. When spraying, ensure adequate ventilation, keep away from ignition sources and do not inhale spray mist. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
  • Ready to use, do not dilute. Spray thinly from a distance of 30 to 50 centimeters or apply with a cloth.
  • Plastics, rubber, foam and textile processing, foundry and welding technology, paper and printing industry, locksmiths, automotive workshops, furniture manufacturing, leather processing, tent and tarpaulin manufacturing, boat building. Furniture, plastic surfaces, leather, tents and tarpaulins, rot strips, boats, diving equipment, blinds, awnings, mechanical locking systems, as well as excavators, snow plows and other construction vehicles are maintained and lubricated.
  • Can be used on plastic, rubber, foam, textiles, leather, wood, metal, and painted components. Not suitable for surfaces that will subsequently be painted, glued, printed, or coated, as the silicone film impairs the adhesion of paints and and adhesives.
