Description

Windscreen antifreeze -70° is a citrus windscreen cleaner concentrate with antifreeze for year-round use in vehicle fleets. In summer, the product removes insect residues and road dirt from the windscreen; in winter, it protects the washer fluid from freezing. The main difference to simple summer washer fluid additives is the adjustable temperature range: depending on the mixing ratio, the antifreeze protection ranges from -10 °C to a pure -70 °C. The same batch thus covers mild winters in lowlands as well as high-altitude operations or cold storage transport, without the need to stock two separate products. Inventory, ordering effort, and risk of confusion in operation are reduced accordingly. In addition, the product can be used pure as a defroster on icy windscreens and as a door lock de-icer. For businesses, this means shorter set-up times in the morning, less downtime due to frozen wiper systems, and a lower risk of accidents due to smeared or frozen windscreens. Can be used in cars, buses, trucks, and construction machinery. The product is flammable and harmful if swallowed; relevant storage and handling regulations must be observed.

Product application

  • Empty the washer fluid reservoir as much as possible before refilling to ensure the desired mixing ratio is achieved. Mix the product with water according to the required temperature range and fill; then briefly operate the washer system so that lines and nozzles are flushed and also protected against frost. As a defroster, apply the product undiluted to the frozen windshield, let it work briefly, and remove the melted ice with a squeegee. As a door lock de-icer, spray undiluted into the lock. When de-icing, activate the window heating and ventilation to prevent fogging on the inside. Liquid and vapor are highly flammable: do not use near ignition sources; in halls, ensure sufficient ventilation. Avoid ingestion, prevent eye contact; in case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Neat down to -70 °C, 1:1 down to -30 °C, 1:2 down to -20 °C, 1:3 down to -15 °C, 1:4 down to -10 °C. Use neat as a defroster and door lock de-icer.
  • Car, van and truck fleets, bus companies, construction and municipal machinery, winter service vehicles, factory yards and company filling stations. Usable everywhere where windows need to be cleared of ice or kept free of insects and road film year-round, as well as on iced-up door locks.
  • Suitable for vehicle windows, washer fluid tanks, and washing systems. Avoid contact with ignition sources and open flames. On solvent-sensitive plastic, rubber, and painted parts, as well as on freshly painted surfaces, test in an inconspicuous area beforehand; avoid prolonged contact with paint.
