Description

The Shadow Remover is an alkaline cleaning gel for touch-up work after graffiti removal. It eliminates so-called shadows, which are paint residues that remain in the porous structure after the actual removal process and visually detract from the cleaning result. The gel-like formulation is crucial: the product adheres even to vertical surfaces, allowing for a long dwell time during which paint residues are released even from the pores. The gel can be used on all alkali-resistant surfaces such as sandstone, shell limestone, concrete, limestone, brick, and granite, as well as on soft stones and wood. It is biodegradable and non-flammable, which simplifies storage and transport on construction sites. For service providers, this means a touch-up product that avoids complaints after graffiti removal without having to mechanically abrade the surface.

Product application

  • Before use, perform a test application on an inconspicuous area. Apply the shadow remover undiluted to the surface with a brush, lambskin roller, or swab; the gel also adheres to vertical surfaces and maintains a consistent dwell time. After approximately 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the pore depth, wash off with a high-pressure cleaner. Hot water high-pressure further enhances the cleaning effect. If the graffiti has deeply penetrated the surface, repeat the application if necessary. Do not allow the product to come into contact with zinc, aluminum, or anodized surfaces; cover adjacent components. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves, and observe local wastewater regulations.
