Description

Cooling spray lowers the temperature of materials and components within seconds, making it a process tool for assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting. In mechanical engineering, it accelerates the shrink-fitting of bearings and the joining of fits; the rapid shrinkage also allows for early error detection when reaching the fit dimension, which helps to avoid high defect rates from the outset. In the electrical and electronics industry, cooling spray is the standard aid for localizing temperature-dependent faults on components, circuit boards, and PCBs. The time saved compared to using a cooling chamber or dry ice is considerable and makes the product an economical tool for single-piece production and service.

Product application

  • Spray parts for approx. 10 seconds until the desired cooling is achieved. Caution: Do not spray on surfaces or objects hotter than 50 °C. Freeze spray is highly flammable and combustible – keep away from ignition sources. Wear protective gloves (risk of frostbite).
  • Electrical and electronics industry for troubleshooting components, circuit boards, and PCBs. Mechanical engineering for shrink-fitting bearings and assembling precision fits. Assembly and disassembly of temperature-sensitive connections.
  • Suitable for metal and electronic components. Do not use on surfaces above 50 °C. Avoid skin contact – risk of frostbite.
  • A 400ml can is sufficient for approximately 40-60 cooling procedures of 10 seconds each.
