Description

Glanztrockner is a preservative based on special waxes. The waxes, with the help of cationic surfactants, deposit in a thin layer on the paint surface, forming an even, long-lasting protective film. This film shortens the drying time because water beads off instead of staying flat, and protects the paint from environmental influences between washes. At the prescribed dosage, rubber, metals, paints, and other water-resistant materials are neither attacked nor corroded. The difference from pure drying aids lies in the preserving effect: in addition to faster drying, a protective wax layer remains on the paint. For car washes and fleets, this means shorter downtime during the drying phase, fewer water spots on dark paints, and a recurring build-up of paint protection with each wash. The product can be applied in car washes, high-pressure cleaners, with high-pressure sprayers, and also by hand with a brush or sponge, as the ready-to-use solution spreads very well over surfaces.

Product application

  • Clean surfaces thoroughly with car shampoo before use. Then spray the solution in the car wash, high-pressure cleaner or with a high-pressure sprayer such as Art. 400 as a protective film on surfaces and materials. Alternatively, apply by hand with a brush. Do not use in direct sunlight or cold temperatures, as this may lead to uneven film formation and staining. Then allow to air dry or blow dry. Observe the dosage precisely; too high or too low a dosage will reduce the film's repellency. Protect the concentrate from frost and store containers tightly closed.
  • The concentration exiting the spray jet should be 30 to 60 cubic centimeters per 10 liters of water. Adhere strictly to the dosage, as over- or under-dosing will impair the repellent effect.
  • Gantry car washes, conveyor tunnel systems, self-service wash parks, high-pressure cleaning equipment in workshops and fleets, vehicle preparation areas, as well as the preservation of cars, vans, trucks, buses, and trailers.
  • When used at the recommended dosage, rubber, metals, paints, and other water-resistant materials are not attacked or corroded. Do not use in direct sunlight or freezing temperatures. Do not apply to windshields in the wiper area, as the wax film may cause streaking. Protect concentrate from frost.
