Description

FARBLÖSER extra removes acrylic coatings and oil paints, felt-tip pen stains, emulsion paints, and varnishes from all water, alkali, and solvent-resistant materials such as stone, plastic, or glass. The key difference compared to traditional paint removers lies in its safety and work profile: the product is non-toxic, non-flammable, has an almost imperceptible odor, and contains no environmentally harmful solvents. Additionally, there's a process-related advantage: FARBLÖSER extra does not evaporate. As long as moisture is present on the surface, its dissolving activity remains fully effective, allowing even thick or multi-layered coatings to be permeated in a single step without constant reapplication. Besides removing old coatings, the product is suitable for cleaning dried brushes, lambskin rollers, and paint-smeared tools, as well as for cleaning production facilities and paint containers in paint and varnish manufacturing. It also removes plastic and paper stickers as well as shoe scuffs. For businesses, this means fewer tool losses and less effort for ventilation and fire protection measures.

Product application

  • Apply PAINT REMOVER, undiluted, with a cloth, sponge, or brush, or depending on the application area, with a spray device, and allow it to act until the paint or dirt deposit is dissolved. Then rinse or wash off with clear water. If this is not possible, remove the loosened paint with cloths on scratch-sensitive surfaces, and with steel or fiber brushes on scratch-resistant surfaces. Repeat the process if there are multiple layers of paint. Clean any residues on absorbent substrates with COVIL M-3. Ensure fresh air supply in enclosed spaces. Before use, perform a test application on a hidden area to check material compatibility. The product is harmful if swallowed, irritates the skin, and causes serious eye damage; therefore, wear protective gloves and safety goggles.
  • Ready to use, do not dilute. Apply undiluted with a cloth, sponge, brush or spray device.
  • Removal of old paint from stone, plastic, and glass, cleaning of dried paint brushes, lambskin rollers, and paint-smeared tools, cleaning of production facilities in the paint and varnish industry including paint containers, as well as removal of plastic and paper stickers and shoe scuffs.
  • Can be used on all water-, alkali-, and solvent-resistant materials such as stone, plastic, and glass. Not suitable for substrates where the coating should be preserved, as even intact paint layers will be dissolved. Before use, perform a test application in an inconspicuous area. Clean any residues on absorbent substrates with COVIL M-3.
  • For saturating a paint layer, depending on the absorbency of the substrate, approximately 0.2 to 0.4 liters per square meter are required. A 1-liter bottle is therefore sufficient for around 3 to 5 square meters, and a 30-liter canister for about 75 to 150 square meters. A few centiliters per brush are enough for tool cleaning.
