Description

E-Protect is a water-displacing moisture protection for electrical devices and systems. The product penetrates and displaces water, forming a permanent protective film on all electrical parts without impairing conductivity. Ignition malfunctions and leakage currents are eliminated, and failures and downtimes in machines and systems are significantly reduced. E-Protect creeps into cavities and windings, but does not attack insulating varnishes and is neutral towards plastics, rubber, glass, ceramics, and metals. A practical side effect for vehicle fleets: Treated car engines become unattractive to martens, which demonstrably reduces marten damage. The product is resistant to vapors, salts, and water.

Product application

  • Switch off the system, if possible without tension. Directly spray affected contacts, windings, and plug connections. Allow to air dry briefly, then put back into operation. For prevention, repeat at regular maintenance intervals.
  • Electric motors and windings, ignition systems, fuses and fuse boxes, switches and switchgear, terminals, junction boxes, signal and traffic light systems, plugs and sockets, cable reels, power distributors, vehicle electrics and lighting, boat engines and electrics, ventilation and air conditioning systems, garden lighting.
  • Neutral to plastics, rubber, glass, ceramics, and metals. Does not attack insulating varnishes. Resistant to vapors, salts, and water.
  • A 400ml can is sufficient for approximately 80–120 control cabinet or connector treatments.
