Description

Covil Foam S is an acidic foam cleaner with a corrosion inhibitor for plant and room cleaning in the food and beverage industry. The concentrate thoroughly removes stubborn water and milkstone deposits, flash rust, and other mineral soiling that alkaline cleaners fail to address. The formulation is specifically developed for foam generators and creates a stable foam. This results in a significant practical advantage: The product adheres to smooth vertical surfaces and achieves the necessary contact time instead of immediately running off. The integrated corrosion inhibitor reduces material stress, which is otherwise a constant issue with acidic cleaners. Covil Foam S can be used with foam generators, manually, or in a dip tank and is easily rinsed off. For production facilities, this means shorter cleaning times during shift breaks, less mechanical effort, and predictable removal of scale from equipment, containers, and molds.

Product application

  • Remove coarse dirt beforehand. Prepare Covil Foam S according to its intended use: for systems and containers, use 3 to 5 wt-% (1:20 to 1:35) with an exposure time of 10 to 15 minutes at approx. 20 to 50 °C. For production rooms, wall and floor tiles, and ham and liver cheese molds, use 0.5 to 1.5 wt-% (1:50 to 1:200) with an exposure time of 10 to 30 minutes at approx. 40 to 60 °C. Apply foam from bottom to top using a suitable foam generator, do not allow to dry, and always rinse thoroughly with water after the exposure time. Contains inorganic acids: wear safety goggles, protective gloves, and an apron; do not mix with alkaline or chlorine-containing products.
  • Concentrate. Plant and containers 3 to 5 wt.% (1:20 to 1:35), production rooms and molds 0.5 to 1.5 wt.% (1:50 to 1:200).
  • Production facilities, containers and workrooms in the food and beverage industry, wall and floor tiles in production rooms, ham and meatloaf molds. Typical objects are food production, butcher shops, bakeries, slaughterhouses, dairies, and breweries.
  • Suitable for stainless steel, VA, aluminum, polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). Contains inorganic acids and amphoteric surfactants; the corrosion inhibitor reduces material stress. Always rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning. Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces such as natural stone and galvanized parts without prior testing.
