Covil Absorber is a fast-acting liquid binder that absorbs 80 times its own weight. It is suitable for all aqueous liquids, from water, tea, juice, coffee, soup, and wine to vomit, urine, infusion solutions, and blood. The binder transforms the liquid into a solid, dry gel that can be picked up in one step, instead of having to be wiped up with cloths or vacuumed with a wet vacuum. The odor reduction additionally relieves the burden on staff. The current formula is an extra-fine powder, which allows it to spread better on the liquid and bind completely faster. For care facilities, clinics, schools, and emergency services, this means shorter binding times, less contact with potentially infectious material, and faster re-release of the area. Since only aqueous media are bound, the product does not replace an oil binder. Disinfection of the area after removing the liquid is recommended.
