Product features
  • Removes 5 to 10 millimeters of combustion residue without mechanical action
  • De-emulsifying, separable via oil separators
  • Dries residue-free after airing
  • Mild odor, good for spraying and misting
  • Dissolves tar, bitumen, carbon deposits, resins, and PU foam
For heat exchanger cleaning, requirements depend on the internal volume; a 30-liter canister fills a heat exchanger of corresponding size. For surface cleaning, about 0.2 to 0.3 liters per square meter are sufficient; a 10-liter canister thus covers approximately 30 to 50 square meters of heavily greased surfaces.

Description

COVIL 35 is a special cold cleaner based on a multi-component mixture in the isoaliphatic range. As a non-polar compound, the product is water-insoluble and demulsifying, so that separation via an oil separator remains possible at all times, simplifying its use in workshops with separator systems. The evaporation rate is 35, the water hazard class is 2, and it is an A-II product. Its particular strength lies in the internal cleaning of heat exchangers: combustion residues 5 to 10 millimeters thick are dissolved in 30 to 35 minutes without mechanical processing; the heat exchanger is filled, the dwell time is awaited, and the dissolved deposits are then flushed out. In addition, COVIL 35 dissolves tar and bitumen from solvent-resistant surfaces, as well as oil carbon, resinified oils and greases, PE waxes, preservatives, heavy oil, resin, microwaxes, rosin, epoxy resin, alkyd resin, polyurethane, and acrylates. The product dries residue-free after airing and has a mild odor, which facilitates spraying and misting.

Product application

  • Apply undiluted by dipping, spraying, or wiping. For heat exchanger cleaning, fill the interior with COVIL 35, let it work for 30 to 35 minutes, then remove dissolved deposits by flushing. For surfaces with tar and bitumen deposits, spray on, let it work, and then remove the loosened coating. Caution: The product dissolves non-baked-on paints; test on an inconspicuous area of painted components first. Liquid and vapor are flammable, the product may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways, causes skin irritation and serious eye damage. Keep away from ignition sources, ensure adequate ventilation, wear solvent-resistant gloves and safety goggles.
  • Ready to use, do not dilute. Apply undiluted by dipping, spraying or wiping.
  • Interiors of heat exchangers, engines, machinery and equipment with heavily greased surfaces, printing rollers, printing blankets, clichés and screens, as well as surfaces with tar and bitumen residues.
  • For all solvent-resistant surfaces and metals. Caution: Unbaked paints, as well as preservatives, PE waxes, and various resins, will be dissolved. Do not use on sensitive plastics, rubber, or freshly painted components without prior testing. Demulsifying, therefore separable via oil separator.
  • For heat exchanger cleaning, requirements depend on the internal volume; a 30-liter canister fills a heat exchanger of corresponding size. For surface cleaning, about 0.2 to 0.3 liters per square meter are sufficient; a 10-liter canister thus covers approximately 30 to 50 square meters of heavily greased surfaces.
