Description

Cover BR Liquid is a safety solvent for rapid degreasing in workshops and maintenance. It removes residues of sealing material from sealing surfaces and flange connections, dissolves tar and rubber abrasion from solvent-resistant surfaces, and eliminates adhesive residues, dispersion paint residues, and stains from carpets and seats. This means that, in addition to classic brake cleaning, the product also covers tasks for which several special agents would otherwise be required. Cover BR Liquid degreases and cleans metal, glass, ceramics, and many plastics, and dissolves resinified residues. As a liquid in a canister, it is significantly more economical per application compared to aerosol cans and can be dispensed via a spray bottle, immersion bath, or cloth. The product is classified as highly flammable (including H225, H304, H315, H319); ignition sources must be kept away and ventilation must be ensured.

Product application

  • Spray soiled parts with Cover BR Liquid and let the active ingredient, along with the dissolved dirt, drain off. Then allow the parts to air dry or wipe them with a dry cloth. Repeat the process for heavy soiling. Before use on plastics and painted surfaces, test in an inconspicuous area. Work only in well-ventilated areas and away from ignition sources, wear protective gloves and safety glasses. Use a drip tray and dispose of residues via the oil separator or company disposal system.
  • Ready to use, do not dilute
  • Garages, car dealerships, bus companies, freight forwarders, municipal utilities, industry, construction and agricultural machinery manufacturing and maintenance, shipping, and construction companies. Specifically for cleaning cylinders, clutch linings and parts, drum and disc brakes, brake pads, brake shoes, fuel and oil pumps, gears, carburetors, springs and bushings, and for tar removal from painted surfaces.
  • Degreases and cleans metal, glass, ceramic, and many plastics. Acrylic glass, thermoplastics such as PVC, and simple paint coatings will be dissolved and must be excluded. Before use on painted surfaces, test on an inconspicuous area.
  • Approximately 200 to 300 ml are needed per brake cleaning on one axle, so a 30-liter canister is sufficient for about 100 to 150 axle cleanings. This is a practical guideline, as the datasheet does not specify consumption.
