Description

ASPHALT-TRENN SF is a water-miscible, fully synthetic asphalt release agent, specifically developed for stone mastic asphalt with polymer-modified bitumen and for open-pored asphalt. Due to their polymer content, these pavements are significantly more prone to adhesion than conventional mixtures, which is why standard release agents often fail too early in such cases. The product is odorless and readily biodegradable according to OECD 301 C. Crucially for practical application, it leaves no oily residues, ensuring load safety for asphalt containers and tippers, and leaving no residues on concrete and asphalt. The pavement is not dissolved, which avoids discussions about installation quality and warranty. For road construction companies, this reduces the manual effort for scraping out containers and tools and thus the downtime of vehicles between loads. The concentrate is frost-resistant in its delivery state and can therefore be stored easily even in the cold season.

Product application

  • Clean equipment and devices before use, as this is the only way to ensure reliable separation. For first-time use, start with the recommended maximum concentration and then gradually dilute further, as long as the separation effect is maintained. Mix exclusively with water, never dilute with diesel. Use only clean containers for mixing and ensure thorough mixing. Dilutions: polymer-modified bitumen neat or 1:1 with water, whisper asphalt neat, conventional binder layers and asphalt neat to 1:3 diluted depending on the application. Wet troughs, tippers, tools, and plant components evenly and completely. When processing polymer-modified bitumen, do not use rollers with rubber wheels, as adhesion cannot be avoided there and the bitumen surface is over-kneaded. The concentrate is frost-resistant in its delivered state; prepared dilutions must be protected from frost.
  • Concentrate. Polymer-modified bitumen neat or diluted 1:1 with water, Whisper Asphalt neat, conventional binder courses and asphalts neat to 1:3 diluted depending on the application. Dilute exclusively with water, never with diesel.
