Description

The barrier fluid prevents odors from escaping from water-carrying systems and waterless urinals. In toilets, urinals, and sinks, it settles on the water column in the siphon and prevents evaporation, so that the odor seal is maintained even in infrequently used objects. The function of the siphon remains unchanged. In waterless urinals, the fluid itself forms the barrier to the sewage system. For facility operators, this is particularly relevant in schools, sports halls, holiday properties, and office buildings with vacancies, because dried-out siphons are one of the most common causes of odor complaints there. The product emits a pleasant fragrance, prevents unpleasant odors, and reduces cleaning effort for toilets and urinals. Application is contactless by pouring. The product is classified as H304 and must be handled and stored accordingly. Consumption is manageable: In water-carrying systems, about 300 milliliters per object are sufficient, in waterless urinals, replacement occurs after approximately 3,000 to 5,000 uses.

Product application

  • For waterless urinals: pour the required amount of barrier fluid into the empty siphon system. Regularly check the fill level and top up if necessary. Change the barrier fluid after approximately 3,000 to 5,000 uses. The device manufacturer's instructions must be observed. For water-flushed systems: pour approximately 300 milliliters per object into the siphon system, regularly check the fill level and top up if necessary. Application is touch-free; disassembly of sanitary objects is not required. The product can be fatal if swallowed and enters airways (H304), therefore do not transfer into beverage or food containers, do not induce vomiting, and seek immediate medical advice if swallowed. A brief introduction to refill intervals and change rhythm is recommended for cleaning staff.
  • Ready to use, do not dilute. In water-carrying systems, pour approx. 300 milliliters per siphon. In waterless urinals, pour the amount specified by the device manufacturer into the empty siphon system and replace after 3,000 to 5,000 uses.
  • Waterless urinals, urinals and toilets in sanitary facilities, sinks and floor drains in rarely used rooms, sanitary areas in schools, sports halls, office buildings, hotels and holiday properties, as well as properties with seasonal vacancies.
  • For siphon systems of water-bearing sanitary objects and for waterless urinals. The instructions of the manufacturer of waterless urinals must be observed, as not every system is approved for every sealing liquid. Before initial use in existing systems, check compatibility with the installed seals.
  • With around 300 milliliters per filling, a 10-liter container yields approximately 33 siphon fillings in water-bearing systems. In waterless urinals, consumption depends on the design and frequency of use; with a replacement after 3,000 to 5,000 uses, several months of service life per filling can be expected.
