The technical difference to universal cleaners lies in the formulation: In addition to anionic-non-ionic surfactants with high dirt-dissolving and dispersing capabilities, ALUNAL contains complexing agents against scale formation and white tarnishing, protective colloids, stabilisers and dispersing agents for the detached dirt particles, as well as corrosion inhibitors to prevent attack on anodised and aluminium. With a pH value of 7.5 to 8, it is within the reference values of the Aluminiumzentrale (Aluminium Centre). For contractors, this means a predictable cleaning of high-quality facade elements without white tarnishing or staining, thus without the risk of costly rework on visible components.
